La Pucelle de Romorantin

Description

This wine has a really beautiful history. Indeed, we are lucky to have the oldest vine in France. This one is unique, because it was planted between 1820 and 1840, well before the arrival of phylloxera and it is the only one which resisted to this plague. In 2006, the shoots of this old vine were used to make future vines that were planted ungrafted next to its mother in 2007.
The first harvest took place in 2010.

To be enjoyed chilled at 7-8°C
